• A 0.5 mm Fresnel lens gathers the light from the projector and directs it at a right angle through the screen. As the light exits the screen on the audience side, a diffusion medium redistributes the light evenly in all directions—up, down, left, right and center.

• Charcoal grey tint provides superior color contrast, even under harsh ambient light.
• The diffusion medium is in the acrylic, so it can’t be scratched or damaged.
• The Vortex is available in sizes up to and including 160" diagonal.
• Can be used in our Retro/QA (portable rear projection systems),  MultiScreen System,  RPX/Complete or any of our VideoWalls in conjunction with our Projector Support Structure.
• Factory installed Cineframes are also available to simplify installation.

System 400 Frame

• Simplifies your installation.
• Cut a rough opening 1/4" larger than the overall frame size, slide the screen in and bolt into place.
• No finish carpentry required.
• Has a 1-3/4" wide dress trim that hides the opening.
• The audience only sees an attractive frame around a rear screen.
• Reduces clear viewing area by 1" in each dimension.
• Black finish.
• Suitable for 3/8" Cineplex in sizes through in 9' x 12", 1/4" Cineplex in all sizes, IRUS High Contrast Black and Vortex in all sizes, DiamondScreen in sizes through 160" diagonal , and 1/4" and 3/8" Cineglass in sizes through 91" x 121"

System 200 Frame

• Same sturdy design as the System 300, but extruded to a slightly thinner wall thickness.
• Suitable for IRUS and Vortex in all sizes; 1/4" and 3/8" Cineplex in all sizes; 1/4" and 3/8" Cineglass in sizes through 8' x 10'; DiamondScreen through 160" diagonal.

System 100 Frame

• Simple, clean frame for smaller rear screens.
• Adds 1-3/4" to overall height and width of screen; reduces viewing area by 7/8" in each dimension.
• Suitable for 1/4" Cineglass through 4' x 5'; DiamondScreen, 1/4" Cineplex, IRUS and Vortex through 100" diagonal and High Contrast Black in all sizes.
