Please Note : For VCD playback you must have a cdr/cdrw and VCD compatible dvd player.
For SVCD Playback dvd player must be SVCD compatible. Most dvd
players will only say vcd but will play the Svcd discs. VCD will
playback on any computer using windows media player
For SVCD
playback on a computer you will require a dvd playback program such
as PowerDVD ( included)
Also Note that SVCD playback is a bit sensitive to quality of CDR/CDRW.
Does not require a Audio type CDR but does require good quality,
We recommend 8 x discs. Have tested Memorex 16x discs and recorded
perfectly
COMMENTS: This machine is powered by the stream machine
chipset. This Machine has very very good Mpeg 1 and
Mpeg 2 recording and playback capability , Best we have seen on
any machine on the market today . The Machine is not remote
dependant ..Meaning if you lose your remote you can still perform all
functions . The manual contains extremely poor translation and is full
of many grammatical and technical errors . A new manual is being prepared .
When the unit first turns on the video is set to AV1 ,
You have to use the video button to change input to SVHS If you are
using svhs in.
