VIEWSONIC FOCUSES ON EDUCATION WITH NEW ULTRA SHORT THROW 3D PROJECTOR

PJD7382 adds to ViewSonic’s growing line of short throw solutions designed for multi-classroom learning and collaboration

ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions, today announced that the PJD7382  – the newest ultra short-throw projector for classrooms and education centers – is now available for pre-order.

The PJD7382 is ViewSonic’s newest premium performance ultra short-throw projector. Featuring Creston RoomView software at no additional cost, the PJD7382 can be easily connected via Ethernet to allow educators to monitor, troubleshoot, manage and control every device throughout the facility via a single platform solution. And with DLP Link technology, the PJD7382 can provide 3D images to allow for a more immersive learning environment.

The PJD7382 boasts a powerful .61 throw ratio, which produces a sharp, precise image of 81” from a distance of only 39” making the PJD7382 the perfect choice for projection onto an interactive white board for classroom learning. Built with BriliantColor technology and the latest 6-segment DLP color wheel for more vibrant colors, and with advanced features such as microphone input, 10W audio  and closed captioning for the hearing impaired, this is an ideal projector for flexible and effective use within the classroom. The PJD7382’s high brightness and contrast ratios mean that presentations are bright and sharp in any lighting situation.

The filter-less design provides for easy maintenance and lower overall total cost of ownership, while the Kensington security lock port and security bar allow for increased theft deterrence, making the PJD7382 an excellent choice for use in both classrooms and corporate settings. In addition, the model’s eco mode ensures energy savings, lamp life up to 6,000 hours and reduced audible noise.

“The PJD7382 not only offers an ideal teaching and presenting tool, but is also built with total cost of ownership in mind,” said Erik Willey, Product Marketing Manager, for ViewSonic. “By providing powerful ultra short-throw technology and 3D capability in a flexible and mobile package, we’re proud to offer a cost-effective and intuitive solution for educators and business audiences alike.”

The PJD7382 is currently available for pre-order at an ESP starting at $899.

The PJD7382 will be previewed for the first time at the ViewSonic InfoComm booth (#N2375). For further information on ViewSonic products, please visit ViewSonic.com or follow ViewSonic on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
