Barco partners with AccessIT to deploy digital cinema across the United States and Canada

Sacramento, California, 6 November 2008 – Barco, a global leader in digital cinema projection, is proud to announce that it has entered into a Supply Agreement with Access Integrated Technologies, Inc. (AccessIT) (NASDAQ: AIXD), an industry leader in digital cinema solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Barco could deliver up to 5,000 complete digital cinema systems in the United States and Canada.

Following the success of Phase 1 in which they installed more than 3700 screens, AccessIT now enters Phase 2 of their digital roll-out with Barco’s supply agreement for up to 5,000 units as a catalyst. In addition to supplying the digital cinema projectors, Barco will be partnering with AccessIT to implement complete, turn-key digital cinema solutions, including digital servers, theater management systems and central network servers.
