TAIPEI, TAIWAN, October 28, 2008 – BenQ introduced today their latest high-brightness DLP projector, the Mainstream Series MP727 multimedia XGA projector for business, education, and government. A brilliant 4300 ANSI lumens optimized by the latest in projector advancements make the MP727 a versatile, vibrant performer for mid-size conference rooms to large auditoriums, from blackout conditions to well-lit environments. OSRAM's® UNISHAPE™ technology, Texas Instruments'® BrilliantColor™ and Digital Light Processing (DLP), plus BenQ’s 3D Color Management highlight the MP727's presentation prowess.
Lights-On Vibrancy & Versatility
A cut above similarly-priced competitors, the MP727 is well-equipped with premium technologies. The world’s only all-digital imaging chip – DLP – distinguishes the MP727 with sharper, easier-to-read text and details, as well as bolder colors via a higher fill factor and never-fade color consistency. BenQ's Golden ratio color wheel and BrilliantColor™ further boost mid-tone colors up to 50% and broaden the color gamut beyond RGB for super-enhanced whites, blacks, and mid-tone hues. 3D Color Management enables color customization via independent adjustment of hue, saturation, and gain without colors compromising each other. Leading-edge UNISHAPE™ additionally amplifies picture quality with a customized waveform for simultaneous optimization of brightness and color, unlike lesser projectors which sacrifice one for the other. Images are up to 40% brighter, yet exceedingly bold. A high 3500:1 contrast keeps images sharp and vibrant, even in settings with considerable ambient lighting.
Brilliantly Practical
The MP727's lights-on versatility is complemented by smart conveniences for presentations that are effortlessly perfect. Eleven preset modes offer one-touch fine-tuning for presentations, gaming, video, and more, while Wall Color Correction ensures uncompromised image quality in the absence of a screen. Multimedia users will appreciate HDTV compatibility, integrated 3-watt speaker, and HDMI 1.3 (with HDCP). A clever universal audio remote lets users control more than just standard projector functions; it lets users easily adjust the volumes of all audio devices connected to the projector, such as external speakers, DVD player, notebook, and more.
